SSC CGL Exam 2015
Common Graduate Level exam is organized by SSC-Staff Selection Commission for the appointments in Group B & C. SSC is the Govt. undertaking which provides several high as well as low level post in various depts. Those who clear all rounds, they are appointed on very eminent posts. Required Criteria: Candidates should be Graduate in Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics.
Age Limitation: Candidates should be between 17-27 yrs in age.
Special Features of Exam: SSC CGL exam is organized in 3 stages:
Stage 1: It is of 200 marks and the time limit is 120 minutes. Each section of this section has 50 questions, each of 1 mark.
§ General Intelligence & Reasoning: It has similarities & differences, analogies, space visualization, spatial orientation, analysis, problem solving, judgment, discrimination, decision making, visual memory, non-verbal series, arithmetic number series, coding & decoding, syllogistic reasoning, statement conclusion etc.
§ General Awareness: History, Geography, Culture, Economic, Scientific Research, General Policy. English Comprehension: Grammar, Vocabulary, Synonyms & Antonyms, Sentence structure etc.
§ Quantitative Aptitude: numbers, fractions, decimals, Percentage, Square roots, Averages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Interest, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture & Allegation, Time & distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Circle, Regular Polygons, Right Circular Cone, Heights & Distances, Right Prism, Frequency polygon, Histogram, Pie chart, Bar diagram etc.
Stage 2: This section is of 400 marks & the time limit of the paper is 120 minutes. Each section has 100 questions, each of 2 marks.

Stage 3: In this section, candidates have to face interview followed by skill test.
An Interview will be conducted followed by a skill test.
Application Procedure: There are two ways to apply Online or Offline. For applying online candidates should fill the application forms at the website www.sscsr.gov.in & after taking the print of E-Challan should be paid via any SBI branch or Credit Card or Debit card can also be applied.
For offline application candidates have to pay Rs.100/- via CRFS-Central Recruitment Fee Stamps which can be taken from the Departmental Post Offices of the country.
